Vector and patterns

After creating a good handful of Ghosty images to cover for the next few months’ uploads, I couldn’t get enough of playing with Inkscape. It’s not a bad thing, as I wanted to get back into it at some point anyway, but I didn’t expect to find neither time nor energy to do so before next year. It’s so much fun creating vector art though, that I grabbed my laptop, and just started making various images to practice.

Some of these images turned out very nice, and I added more to them to create patterns. I always wanted to learn how to make patterns, so this was a bonus experience for me. Anyway, 7 patterns were created over the weekend, and I feel both exhausted and good, haha. Various products with them are now up for sale on both Redbubble and Society6, so head on over and have a look! 🙂

I made the 4 seasons, 2 skull designs, and a Pokémon Go! Pattern with pokéballs and candy from Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. I had so much trouble getting those candies somewhat right, and it almost drove me nuts, but I’m happy with the outcome.

I’m also working on designs similar to my owls, but it will probably take a while until I’m done with those, as I’m quite blank right now, and we’re slowly getting ready to move outta this here hellhole.

  1. Oh wooooooow, die Pattern sind toll geworden! *____* Und auf den zwei Produkten oben sehen die gleich nochmal so gut aus. Wahnsinn, dass du das da so raufkriegst. 🙂
