As Attack on Titan has finally gotten its sought after second season, I’m starting to wonder why some other series haven’t had that chance yet. So here are 5 anime series that I think need to continue, like, RIGHT NOW!

Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru

Granted, this series is not that old yet, and aired during fall 2015, but that’s almost 2 years ago now, so where is the second season? The first season ended on a cliffhanger, and I’d really like to watch more! Why? Because Sakurako is an interesting character and the series is a nice mix of Sherlock and Bones, which are series I already like to watch. I’ve never seen an anime like this, and want more! More crime scenes, and more unidentified bones and weird people!

Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun

Both seasons aired during 2013, and we haven’t heard anything since. Maybe they are waiting for the manga to progress because they want it to follow the story, but who knows? I really like the fantasy universe this series takes place in, and want to know more about Shino and Sousuke’s past, as well as see the rest of the beads and their holders. Please continue this!

Cuticle Tantei Inaba

This series also aired in 2013, and that’s it. There are no plans to continue the show, which I find odd. Maybe the fan base isn’t huge, but the series has many followers, and a lot of potential! I really want to see Inaba chase Don Valentino again, and also what is up with his little brother. Why is he working for the bad guys? I want to know!

Barakamon

Okay, I know I’m just the one being impatient here. The series aired in 2014, and we got the Handa-kun spinoff/prequel late last year, so it’s not really like the series is gone, or has stopped. I hope they are just waiting for the manga to be a little more into the story, before they start making a new season, as I really enjoyed the overall lighthearted feeling of this goofy series. Next summer maybe? Please?

Zombie Loan

Seeing as this series aired back in 2007, and the official website hasn’t been updated since 2008, I’m probably crying in vain here. But still, I’d really like for this series to continue, even if it means a reboot! A lot of characters we never got to see in the series were introduced in the ending from episode 1, and it ended with one huge mess of a cliffhanger! Zombies are totally in these days, so why not give it another go? Hiroyuki Sawano made the OST for this fun series, and I’m sure he could do it even better today, so let’s hire him too, yes?
